A month ago, I decided to pick up the Garnier rosewater spray. I was really interested in giving this product a try because the last time I tried a rosewater mist, it completely broke me out. See story Here
However, I was very hopeful about using Garnier’s facial mist as I’ve never had a problem with their products in the past.
One thing that definitely drew my attention to this product is the color. It comes in a pink-colored spray bottle that honestly makes it look boogie.
At first glance, you might think it is very expensive, but the moment you realize it only retails for $7, you’d honestly be shocked.
It comes with about 4.4 fluid oz of product. That might not seem like a lot to some people, but trust me it does last a while.
I have been using this product regularly for about a month now and I’ve only used 1/3 of the bottle.
However, if you intend to use it throughout the day for hydration, then do expect to run out from time to time.
Garnier Rosewater Spray Review
These are some of my pros and cons of this mist. I’ve been using it occasionally to hydrate my skin this past month and have concluded this to be my honest opinion about this product.
Pros
- Hydrating
- Vegan
- Refreshing
- Affordable
- Won’t clog pores
- Great for sensitive skin
Cons
- Scented
- Flimsy pump
- Not long-lasting
- Not the best for very oily skin
So far, I really like this product and how it performs, it provides hydration for my skin when it needs it. Plus, it doesn’t clog my pores.
I also like that it’s vegan and great for sensitive skin. So if you do have sensitive skin, don’t shy away from giving this a shot.
That being said, I do have issues with several other things that come with this Garnier rosewater spray.
First off, the pump is a bit flimsy. You have to spray at least 12-15 inches away from your face to really get the product on your skin.
This might not be an issue for you. However, it was for me.
In addition to the flimsy pump, I’ve also realised that it isn’t long-lasting. So if you have really dry skin and want this for hydration, be prepared to use it multiple times a day.
On the other hand, if you have really oily skin, this might cause your oils to peek through even more. Don’t think this product will mattify your skin, cause it wouldn’t.
I personally have combination skin and get very oily around my T-zone and I’ve noticed this product makes my skin look oilier than normal.
Lastly, I would add that this mist has a mild scent to it. But if it doesn’t seem like a problem to you, then it can be a pro.
Overall, I think this is an amazing facial mist and one worth giving a try.
